Tidal Grip - Pitch Feedback- Research- First Animatic
In week 7 we got the feedback from our presentation, which consisted of both
good and bad points.
Good
Presented well, clear and precise
Enthusiastic
Showed the potential of a good idea
Bad
They weren't sure exactly what the story is
Thought that it came across like a product pitch, rather than animation
and questioned the originality of the surf concept
Over all they gave our project a red amber light saying that if we
were to proceed we would need to really clarify a story
and make sure it was something that hadn't been done before.
So we regrouped taking the points on board and how close we came to being shut down
and set about doing some further research. I went to my local beach up in North
Cornwall Polzeath and Sophie went out with a mini film crew to test the camera
we may use.

We then got straight into reworking the story and Sophie put together
a rough animatic, which you can check out below.
Feed back we received: Although the idea had pushed past the previous
story people still didn't understand what was going on and thought that
the environmental message was a little to strong.
