Clay Model of Character
(Toms character turnarounds)
After Tom drew up what the final character look I set about converting this drawing into a 3D object by making it in clay (well Plasticine I seem to be able to work a lot better in this medium)
This really gave us all a good idea of what kind of shape the character would be, so when Kirk started to model in Maya he would have a basic shape to work from.
