I found this video the other day Animated by Daniel M Kanemoto and absolutely loved the way that the guy has used the original artwork from the graphic novel to create such an interesting 3D affect. The whole sequence works really well along side the music, so well in fact I think it is even better than the actual Sequence used in the Television series.

We are really interested in using this kind of affect in the jungle and war of the worlds sequence within the book and are currently looking into how we can do this.
